Emergency Treatment for School Children Learners
This course is designed in line with Government initiatives to train Children to give CPR; how to deal with Unconcious Casualties also how to call the Emergency Services.
Course Content Delegates will receive range of suitable first aid subjects including: - What to do in an emergency
- Dealing with unconcious casualties
- Asphyxia - care of a choking casualty
- Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Course Duration
The course is of 2 hours duration
Course Outcome
Successful completion of the course qualifies the holder to provide initial First Aid treatment whilst awaiting the attendance of an ambulance or other qualified person. The certificate is issued for three years from the date of issue, and learners are strongly recommended to attend refresher training in order to maintain the skills learnt and to keep up to date with changes in protocols.
